Professional supervision is often aimed at human service workers in the area of psychology or social work but can be suitable for a much broader range of professions. Masseurs, receptionists, care workers, personal trainers, administration workers, managers and retail workers…..the list is endless, but all may at times feel challenged by workplace matters or may want to work though career development ideas.
Any profession where you are working face to face with others and perhaps
hearing their stories may at times mean you need to talk things through
with someone to support you in maintaining professional boundaries or
to build upon your interpersonal skills. It can also be an opportunity
to explore your own reactions to situations and to plan your own
development and support networks.
The agenda for Professional Supervision is set by you and may be
exploring your own beliefs, where you fit in an organisation or even
developing more creativity in your role. It may also be used at times to
recognise how your beliefs and values may be affecting your relationships
at work.
You can start to think about these things by signing up for our mini ecourse
“my work, my life, finding balance” This is a five day programme and you can
receive the first session right on your PC at work or home within 24 hours of
payment being received.
PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT / SUPERVISION
"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up the people to gather wood, divide the work and give out orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless ocean." ~ A De Saint Exupery
